| Aaron was so excited to pick Callen up from the babysitter since I wasn't back from the zoo field trip in time. When I got home, they were relaxing on the porch swing. (3/29/2012) |
I remember how hard it was to keep Callen content in this bouncy seat when he was a few weeks old. Now he enjoys playing and talking (and spitting) in it. It won't be long before he is too big for it. He is really getting good at reaching and making contact with toys within his reach!

| Modeling time!! Aunt Susan came to town from VA to take some 4 month shots of Callen. He was such a model and smiled so big! I will post some of her professional shots eventually, but for now, these are some shots I took from the sidelines. |

| Callen loves to stand on his strong legs. He keeps his back straight and stands tall! |
 |
| After a long day of modeling, Callen was excited to open his first Easter card. Thanks Aunt Courtney and Uncle Travis! |

| Callen was having so much fun in his carrier when we got home, he stayed and played with his toys while I did some housekeeping. I caught him reaching for the monkey. It was one of the first times I saw him make contact. His coordination is definitely developing. |

Story time before bed ... Callen will let you know if it is a minute past his bedtime and he hasn't had a story read to him. This was a new Easter book Aaron bought for bedtime. Callen and Aaron were having a sweet moment when I snuck in to snap a picture or two. We always finish with Goodnight, Moon before 'lights out'. Most of the time, Callen's eyes close as the last line is read..."Goodnight noises everywhere." |
Story time is one of our favorites ~ it is so nice that you and Aaron share this special time with Callen every day.
ReplyDeleteLove the videos ~ please tell my little smooshy that Auntie Lynna believes *everything* he says in all of his stories. :-)
He is such a happy, sweet child ~ but nothing beats watching his face light up when he hears his Mama's voice. (I am sure it happens with his Dada, I just don't get much time with the two of them together. Clearly you can see he feels very secure and happy with his two favorite people!)
THese are such sweet pictures. I can NOT believe how big he is getting. Man, time is flying!!!! Thanks so much for keeping us all up to date with this blog. <3 <3
ReplyDeleteThank you for updating your blog. Gavin loves to sit on my lap and watch the videos. Olivia will hear Callen's voice and come running thinking that it is Skype. "Hi Callen, hi Uncle Cheery" ... then ask why you aren't answering her. hee hee. I love all of the pictures/videos but my favorites of this update are story time and the look of determination as Callen is opening his Easter card. He looks so focused. Soooooo sweet!
