More summer fun!

End of June-beginning of July

It is SUMMER!!!!!! I am so glad to have my summer break to spend with Callen.  I have really enjoyed seeing him everyday.  I love to watch him problem solve and explore. He really studies everything. He watches and learns.  Many people have commented about Callen's awareness.  He is beginning to start noticing when Mommy or Daddy leave the room, and he needs some time to warm up when someone "new" is around. 
Callen loves to try new food.  He really loves sweet potatoes and cinnamon.  He has tried so many veggies and fruits. He watches us eat and tries so hard to get the food off our plates!

Callen has been practicing sitting up on his own.  He still needs some support but he's getting there! (Just days from being 7 months old)

Callen is 7 months old!

July 11, 2012- We joined Auntie Lynn, Uncle Max, cousin Luca and Grandma at the Athens Drive Public Library for a visit from the American Refuge. He brought a black vulture and 4 owls.  Callen loved to see their wings flap but otherwise he just wanted to play with the flyer.

June 24, 2012- 6.5 months
